Counter hall at Valiant bank

Bern, Switzerland

An LED light ceiling spans the counter hall at Valiant bank at Bahnhofplatz in Bern. Its Tunable White function enables variable light colours to be generated, ranging from warm and neutral white to cold white.

Tailor-made Tunable White system

Rykart Architekten have revitalised a former daylight ceiling at the Valiant branch at Bahnhofplatz in Bern, creating an LED light ceiling. Licht+Raum integrated its square low-profile ZETA luminaires in the 36 ceiling coffers measuring 90 x 90 cm each. They are equipped with LED light engines from the Tridonic QLE PREMIUM Tunable White module family.

Tridonic offers lighting planners and luminaire developers complete packages consisting of an LED engine, LED driver and matching lighting control components.
These systems comprise perfectly matched technology and make project-specific implementation of Tunable White particularly easy. The customer can choose the necessary LED light engines, the lighting control protocol and the desired control interfaces (touch panel or switch) and will receive a complete package tailored to their project. To ensure the quality of light and colour consistency, the system is precisely calibrated ex works.

In the counter hall, four LED light engines in square versions (QLE) were installed per luminaire. The light is controlled via DALI x/e-touchPANEL 02. This  lighting control system has a pre-installed Tunable White program that only needs to be linked to the desired schedule.
